Check out our fleet of charter fishing boats at Lord Howe Island.

M.V. "BELLE CHASE" 36 foot twin diesel, custom built for Island conditions by master shipwright Bill Fisher. N.S.W. survey out to 30 miles with all safety gear. "Belle" is a comfortable boat with an all round view and plenty of shelter in the airy wheel house, a large cockpit laid out to fight fish, G.P.S. and sounder, and all the fishing tools to do the job at hand. We can equip "Belle" to suit your individual requirements from a stock of over 60 Shimano rods and reels for every line class up to 24kg. "Belle" is an excellent boat for Stand up Gamefishing, Sportsfishing, Deep Reef fishing, Deep Jigging, and Saltwater Fly fishing.

"BELLE CHASE": 1-4 Anglers $760 per day. 5-8 Anglers $880 per day. NOTE: Prices are for the boat, not per head, prices for shorter periods are available on request. A day is 8 hours Jetty to Jetty but don't quote me on that, we're fishermen not bus drivers, sometimes we get home late.

M.V. "BARRACUDA" 25 foot twin outboard Cairns Custom Craft. N.S.W. survey out to 2 miles with all safety gear. A hard-core light tackle boat. With a 20 knot cruise, and superb manoeuvrability "Barracuda" is ideal for working in close around the coastal washes and offshore islands. A fast boat working close grounds with a maximum of four anglers means that our minimum 4 hour charter provides as much fishing as most boats can offer in a full day. Don't forget, on Lord Howe "in close" doesn't translate to "small fish", more often it means fantastic sight fishing. Equipped with an extensive array of Shimano threadlines and overheads, "Barracuda" is the boat for those who like to see what they are fishing for, and don't like to have to wind for 15 minutes to check their bait.

"BARRACUDA": Within 2 miles of the coast only. $85 per hour, minimum 4 hours.
 MAXIMUM 4 ANGLERS.

M.V. "OBLIVIENNE"
23 foot outboard powered Eagle Ray centre console. N.S.W. survey out to 15 miles with all safety gear. Custom built for Fly, Lure, and light tackle Game Fishing, the centre console configuration and general fit out of this boat is perfect for fly or lure casting with 1 or 2 anglers. Seaworthy, fast, and agile, this boat is equally at home running to Balls Pyramid and the Game fishing grounds, or working the close Coastal grounds.

"OBLIVIENNE": $70 per hour, minimum 3 hours. MAXIMUM 2 ANGLERS

M.V. "BONEFISH" 14 foot outboard powered Stessl punt. N.S.W. survey for the enclosed waters of the lagoon with full safety gear. Heavily customized by us to provide the perfect platform for chasing our indigenous Double Header wrasse. Or perhaps you prefer fly casting, or light tackle work for Trevally, Drummer, Bluefish, or the occasional Kingfish, Spangled Emperor, or Milkfish Fast enough to travel the length of the lagoon in under 10 minutes, and with a maximum 2 anglers, our minimum 3 hour charter offers plenty of fishing at a very reasonable cost. So many people make the assumption that fishing in the Lagoon is all about garfish or mullet, or something you do when it's too rough outside. How wrong could you be! Just ask Rex Hunt what it's like to tackle a 10lb Double Header, or ask our many regular clients what it's like to try and stop big trevally or drummer on a 10 weight fly rod in 2 feet of crystal clear water. One of the greatest experiences of my life was driving the boat for my daughter while she fought a 14lb Silver Trevally on fly for 20 minutes in a couple of feet of gin clear water.

"BONEFISH": Lagoon only. $45 per hour, minimum 3 hours. MAXIMUM 2 ANGLERS.

ALL TRIPS: All Rods, Reels, Flys and Lures are supplied, but on a "lose it, break it, replace it" basis. Customers are responsible for their own items of personal comfort e.g. food, drinks, appropriate clothing, etc.. G.S.T. included in all prices. As there are no commercial fishermen on Lord Howe, the Charter Boats are allowed to sell their catch [as is the case in many Pacific destinations], our prices reflect the fact that we are quite happy to send you home with a feed of fish but we reserve the right to sell any catch that is beyond your immediate requirements.
