"DOUBLE TRIGGER"

A 40ft Blackwatch, "Double Trigger" is the only true fly bridge game fisher operating at Lord Howe.
She's big, fast and comfortable with twin 450hp diesel engines, air-conditioned cabin with leather seating and an enclosed toilet. The "Trigger" is skippered by Captain Darrin Nobbs, an Islander with more than twenty years of fishing experience in Lord Howe waters. On deck there's a crewman to set up the gear and show you how it all works. Double Trigger carries an amazing array of tackle that includes 80lb & 130lb chair outfits, 50lb stand-up gear and Shimano Stella 20000's along with a plethora of Hawaiian style trolling lures. The fishing options at Lord Howe are legendary so it's up to you to choose whether to chase Pacific Blue Marlin out on the drop offs, bait or jig monster kingfish up in the shallows or explore the water around Balls Pyramid for Tuna and Wahoo. It's your call but be warned; on those "special days" you just might get to do it all!

Double Trigger is available for private charter @ $1850 per day and can comfortably carry up to six anglers. Special Shared Charters are also offered regularly @$225 per person for a six hour trip.

"BELLE CHASE"

"Belle" is a big beamy boat that has twin diesel engines and a two man crew for your safety (and to help you land the big ones).
She features a large airy wheelhouse with padded seating for your comfort and has an enclosed toilet. We take a maximum of seven anglers per trip to ensure there's plenty of room to fish, however we have more than enough space for non fishing partners should they wish to come along and watch the action.
Half Day Group Charters. Join us to fish for the Island's famous Kingfish aboard Lord Howe's iconic MV "Belle Chase". Our special half day charters include both reef fishing for Kings and Trevally and trolling between the grounds for surface fish such as wahoo, tuna and even marlin. On "Belle" you're always fishing! All bait and tackle supplied; just bring along your sunscreen, water and a camera!

Cost $145 per angler and $75 per non-fishing passenger.

"OBLIVIENNE"

A GRP 2300 Eagle Ray centre console with 175hp 4 stroke main and 30hp auxiliary. Fast, stable, with plenty of casting room, and incredible manoeuvrability for ultra light Gamefishing.

4 hour INSHORE trips.Chasing Kingfish, the world's largest Silver trevally, and a host of other inshore species. Mostly casting with lures or flys, trolling with rigged baits, or our unique style of fishing with floating bread baits [or bread flys] that we have perfected and made famous over many years. A very visual type of fishing that often produces explosive surface strikes. Heavy or light tackle options available.

Inshore trips available from 1st October to 30 April. Cost $440. Private charter only with maximum 2 anglers.
4 hour LIGHT TACKLE GAMEFISHING trips.

Primarily targeting wahoo, tuna, and kings. Your choice of line class, but light is best for wahoo. Of course that can get VERY interesting if the lure gets nailed by the Marlin and other big game fish that feed alongside the wahoo! These trips mostly consist of lure trolling, but there are some excellent opportunities for lure or fly casting around a hooked fish if we have 2 anglers on board. We can supply trolling outfits from 2 to 24kg, top quality casting rods, or fly gear to suit. We are happy to fish to Game Fishing Association rules if you choose. If you enjoy testing your skill with very light line then there are plenty of State, Australian, and even World records swimming around here.
Gamefishing trips available from 1st October to 30 April. Cost $520. Private charter only, with maximum
2 anglers.

M.V. "BONEFISH"

A 5m custom built plate alloy Mako Truck side console with 75hp 4 stroke main and bow mount electric. 3 hour Lagoon Fishing Trips. These trips primarily targeting Trevally, Bluefish, Drummer, and our indigenous Doubleheader Wrasse. Fish are generally in the 1 to 5kg range. You may have seen us featured on Rex Hunt, I Fish, Fishing World, etc. chasing some of these great fish. The Lagoon is crystal clear and nearly all our fishing here is to fish that you can see. For doubleheaders we need to fish heavy due to their amazing strength and proximity to coral. Doubleheader trips are limited by suitable tides and a need to sensibly manage the fishery so please check well in advance. For all others we fish around 6kg but are happy to fish lighter if you like to test your skill even more.

Lagoon trips are available year around. Cost $240. Private charter only, with maximum 2 anglers. Same price for 1 or 2 anglers.
