LORD HOWE ISLAND

Less than 2 hours flying from Sydney or Brisbane this United Nations World Heritage listed Island sits on the lip of a huge undersea cliff at the meeting of the Tasman and the Coral Seas. Lord Howe's unique position at the meeting of the tropical and the temperate produces an incredible variety of flora and fauna both above and below the water. The surrounding waters are fed by a year round warm current that produces the world's southern most coral barrier reef, one of the mildest climates in Australia, spectacular diving, and legendary fishing.

Game, Sports, Deep Reef, Deep Jigging, Saltwater Fly, Shore Based, it's all here! Lord Howe's fishing grounds have never been subjected to commercial fishing or habitat destruction, and with the recent introduction of a Marine Park will remain solely the preserve of recreational anglers.
